  • Well, I hope authors of those mods will reply you on this soon.
I mean... You did grab those mods on this forum, right? Not somewhere else?

  • Which mods are you using? Do you mean mods as in game modification or custom content? Have you made sure that you have script mod checked in options?

I used verified mod sites. Like ModTheSims and TheSimsSource

    Both and yes!

I have lots missing, furniture missing, ccs missing mostly.
  • Lots dont go in the mods folder, so if you are putting them in there they are in the wrong spot, furniture on the other hand I am not sure about, also if you have subfolders and do not have a corrected resource file that allows subfolders, that could be messing you up as well. Lots go in the Tray folder I believe.

Yes, I know, they're still missing.
    My resource is fine though

What do you mean, meshes? D: You're saying all 40 of my ccs need meshes?! None of them even say that!

For any custom content such as hair, clothes, furniture, etc, you need to download the meshes for them unless they come with it.

Not really... For furniture you don't need meshes I believe. Specific hairs do though. Such as re-textures. The person who made the retexture usually puts 'YOU WILL NEED MESH FOR IT TO SHOW UP'
    Same goes for clothes.

Most of the stuff I have has meshes (that I failed to download) XD but thats what i meant when I said 'unless they come with it'

@TheBlaireWitch, in the Sims 4 meshes are inside the .package file. They are not separate. What are you downloading that has a separate mesh? I would like to see it. I have seen where the original .package file is required on a retexture.
@AnikaTheKitten are your CC unzipped? It's just the .package files that are in your Mods folder? And you rewrote the resource file with the code from Mod The Sims? (Sorry if I am redundant, I just want a clear picture so I can help.)
  • @AnikaTheKitten here is a step by step tutorial on Mods& CC. Maybe it will help.
  • Where do you find the meshes for them? Because I have the same problem as her/him, I have a lot of downloaded clothing that disappears after I put it on and it's very annoying. I did notice that some of the descriptions for the clothing said 'Mesh Needed' but me being the plum I am kinda ignored it and thought it didn't mean anything lol. So please help me and tell me where I can find where to download the meshes!

Hello @Mariah420. Go back to the cc sites where you downloaded the cc from, and if there is a mesh needed for the item the creator of the cc will have posted a link to the site where you can download the original mesh.
